VOLT EMG  Visual Muscle Output

VOLT EMG - Visual Muscle Output Technology in the hands of a certified trained professional is an extremely powerful & useful piece of sports science technology that is capable of peering inside an athletes body to visually see what's going on inside their muscles.  Electromyography (EMG) has been around for over 30 years and was traditionally used in medical settings to measure muscle responses or to test for neuromuscular abnormalities.

Most sports performance EMG technology on the market today are typically very complicated to operate and extremely expensive to purchase.  That is why we developed the VOLT EMG - Visual Muscle Output System.  The VOLT EMG Visual Muscle Output system has neither of those issues.  By making our system simple to use and inexpensive we checked the first two boxes without sacrificing the accuracy of the data. The VOLT EMG system can be mastered in less than a day and additional EMG sensors can be added for only $249 a piece to allow you to capture the data from up to 24 muscles simultaneously.  The best part of it all is that once once you have been trained and are certified by Energize, there is NO monthly software license agreements to pay or monthly service fees, in other words the system is 100% yours and you will receive lifetime training & technical support for free.

strength trainer volt emg certification

Strength trainers work with individuals or groups of athletes to solely focus on strength training techniques like proper form, which exercises maximize muscle fiber engagement and muscle isolation.  Using the VOLT EMG system, strength trainers can visually show each athlete which exercises engage the most amount of muscle fiber.  The system can easily demonstrate to the athlete that small variations in lifting form can dramatically reduce the amount of muscle fiber engaged.  In this certification also comes our mind/muscle connection training module to help strength trainers teach the skill of mind/muscle training.  Athletes can engage 30% more muscle fiber when they create a strong neuro-pathway by concentrating on the muscle while they lift and the VOLT EMG system will give you the proof.

CERTIFICATION

Certification for strength trainers on the VOLT EMG Visual Muscle Output system typically takes 4-8 hours to complete and is performed in one session.  With the purchase of your training certification package you will receive (2) two Volt EMG sensors and once they arrive you can book your certification training session.  Training can be scheduled in person at the Energize facility inside the Olympic Training Center or be scheduled virtually.  During your certification training we will cover every facet of the VOLT EMG device & software so that by the end of your session you will be ready to start using the system.

Recommended Number OF SENSORS

The number of sensors recommended varies per test session depending upon what data you are trying to capture and how many muscles or muscle groups are activated during the test.   Typically we recommend 8 sensors for strength trainers because of the complexity of what they are testing, but the system can handle up to 24 simultaneously devices if you need to capture more data from more muscles per session.

AVERAGE SESSION CHARGE

Depending on what muscle feedback data you are trying to capture and how many sensors are required to attain accurate data will determine how much you should charge per session.  Our general rule of thumb is $25 per sensor required to accurately provide feedback to the client.  For example if you are testing a client to determine bicep muscle fatigue levels, we recommend at least 6 sensors or $150 ($25x6) to accurately demonstrate muscle offloading, more sensors create more accuracy.  You would place one sensor on each bicep, one sensor on each tricep, and one sensor on each deltoid.  Then,  as the client proceeds through their bicep workout the sensor will capture the decline in electrical muscle output in the bicep while simultaneously registering continued increases in the other muscles.  When bicep muscle output levels fall by 50% fatigue is setting in and you should start experimenting to find specific lifts that better isolate the bicep.

cost analysis

The average certified VOLT EMG trainer deploys 4-6 sensors per training/testing session for and average cost of between $100-$150.  This means that around (20) VOLT EMG testing or training sessions and your system is completely paid off and every session going forward is 100% profit.

KEY POINTS

Using the VOLT EMG system strength trainers will be able to visually see in real-time which exercises recruit the most amount of muscle fiber and tailor lifting routines that maximize results for each client or athlete.

Performance trainer volt emg certification

Performance trainers work with individuals or groups of athletes to solely focus on speed, agility & skills training techniques.  Using the VOLT EMG system, performance trainers can visually show each athlete which muscles are firing, when they are firing and with how much juice while they are training.  The VOLT system can easily demonstrate to the athlete that small variations in running form can dramatically reduce the amount of muscle fiber engaged while they train.  This certification is the most complex and comprehensive muscle analysis usually only available at elite training centers.  There are 6 major muscles of the leg, adductor muscle, biceps muscle, gastrocnemius muscle, gluteus muscles, quadriceps femoris muscle, sartorius muscle,  soleus muscle and you need to record of them all to gain any useful data to help improve speed or performance.

CERTIFICATION

Certification for performance trainers on the VOLT EMG Visual Muscle Output system typically takes 6-8 hours to complete and is performed in one session.  To receive the most amount of benefit from the device you should be familiar with the major muscles of the leg so you know where to place the sensor.
